Step 2: L-Citrulline solves the absorption problem
Orally-consumed L-Arginine is heavily broken down in the gut and liver before reaching the bloodstream, a limitation called first-pass metabolism. L-Citrulline bypasses this problem entirely: it is absorbed intact, then converted into L-Arginine in the kidneys, potentially raising blood arginine levels more effectively than L-Arginine itself.
Step 3: blood vessels relax and circulation improves
With more nitric oxide available, arterial walls relax and blood moves more efficiently through the circulatory system. Documented downstream effects include improved peripheral circulation and support for arterial flexibility.
